From Small Beginnings to a Thriving Community
Saints in Training Honolulu is a Catholic youth mission dedicated to forming young adults in the faith through Scripture study, prayer, and community.
We gather every other Monday at 6:30 PM at the St. Theresa Church Rectory in Honolulu for fellowship, faith sharing, and growing together in our walk with Christ.
Our name is inspired by the universal call to holiness. We believe that every baptized person is called to be a saint, and we are all "in training" on this journey toward union with God.
Our Vision & Mission
Holiness
We strive for personal holiness through daily prayer, frequent reception of the sacraments, and the practice of virtue.
Formation
We pursue intellectual formation through the study of Sacred Scripture, the writings of the Saints, and the teachings of the Church.
Service
We put our faith into action by serving the poor, visiting the sick, and caring for our island home.
Faith Formation
We believe that faith and reason work together. Our formation programs help you grow in understanding while deepening your relationship with Christ.
Intellectual Formation
We study the Scriptures, the writings of the Church Fathers, and the teachings of the Magisterium to understand our faith more deeply.

Knowledge alone is not enough. We cultivate a living relationship with Christ through prayer, the sacraments, and spiritual direction.

Gospel Study & Scholarship
We believe that faith and reason go hand in hand. Our Friday night studies are deep dives into the historical, cultural, and spiritual context of the Gospel.
Honolulu Community Outreach
Our faith is not just internal. We are active on the streets of Honolulu, serving the homeless, visiting the elderly, and caring for the aina (land).
Guided by Faith & Experience
Spiritual Direction
Our community is guided by priests from the Diocese of Honolulu who provide spiritual direction and celebrate the sacraments with us.
Core Team
A dedicated group of young adults coordinates our gatherings, service projects, and faith formation programs.
